The city and the area

By car or bus, you can reach all of North Jutland’s sights and attractions within an hour. Nearby are golf courses, tennis courts, tropical water park, Roman baths and treatments, equestrian center, museums and hiking trails.

In Lønstrup, by the 90 m high sand dune, you’ll also find the sandy Rubjerg Knude Lighthouse.

The 15 km long Lønstrup Klit is Denmark’s best stretch for paragliding. Within a few kilometers are some of the region’s biggest attractions, such as the Eagle Sanctuary, the North Sea Oceanarium, Faarup Sommerland, and Skagen with Grenen, the harbor and museums.
